I live in the nearby Dockside Green building so the proximity to this Trek store is great! I use it to grab smaller items like tubes, tools and the occasional clothing for cycling. Yesterday, I dropped in after work with my cyclocross bike. I felt it needed a tune up at minimum after a long winters use...As it turned out, it did indeed and they fixed it up very nicely with some new brake pads (mine were on their last legs) and some new grease etc...I'm very happy with the service I and the bike received! It rides like new and I certainly felt like the treatment and service I got was fair and professional...It'll remain as my go to for heavier maintenance jobs.
We rented an e bike and a normal bike for the afternoon mid April and the customer service was pleasant.The first guy helping us seemed a bit lost and not used to the renting prices (his job was mainly in the repair part of the job), but he was very nice and willing. On our way back however a more experience vendor (or the owner ?) was back, way more on top of things, super knowledgeable and was truly helpful. It was our first time on an ebike and we loved it!Prices are reasonable and the equipment felt safe. All in all we had a great day exploring the city thanks to our bikes!
It would be great if there was a public repair stand outside the shop for use outside of shop hours, with the tools attached.And it would be great if there was a seating area in the shop (directly to the left when you walk in) with books/magazines & local information. Potential customers wanting to buy a bike need to think it over a bit before buying.
The guy I talked with about ebikes was great! Very helpful and honest. There was no pushiness. I would be happy buying from them.
Top notch customer service, and reasonable price. I rented a road bike which was perfect for a tour around the city by the water front.
