A web search of Sport Check VICTORIA BC turns up 3 VICTORIA locations; two that indicate an opening time of 11 am and one, located at the Bay Centre, indicates opening at 10 Am. I arrived at 10 am and found an employee waiting at the locked door. A brief conversation with him revealed the the store actually opens at 11 am. I told him that my web search found this store opens at 10. He said he knew about that. Any store, but especially one of this size, should strive for much better than this. Whats the point in posting your hours online if they are incorrect. I spent a lot of time to find parking and I made plans based on the information that was posted. Serious inconvenience.
Went in wanting to buy some sweatpants. When I found some I wanted it was so difficult to find someone to open the fitting room. It's like they were hiding from me. Then I ask the lady at the front if she could put my items on hold for an hour, she said no. First place I've experienced that has rejected to help a customer. I'm trying to support sportchek, because I like their stores, but it's just this location that everyone should avoid. The staff seem like they hate their job.

Getting answers to the simple question of "what else is comparable to this shoe" was like pulling teeth. Sales rep was not knowledgeable about the product, he didn't offer to order a pair when they didn't have my original choice in my size, and he never offered to get a size in the first place... just stood there looking at me while his eyes glazed over.
