A very wide selection and great staff. They frequently have tastings and being able to taste a wide range of different whiskeys is very nice.
Absolutely excellent selection of Scotch and BC wines. The knowledge of the staff is top notch, they're the types that can find the most obscure wine. Someone once asked, "Hey, do you have a full bodied, British Columbian red wine that was aged briefly in french oak barrels?"The answer was yes. (Le Vieux Pin - Petite Rouge).Anyways, great store. The BC liquor laws are really enforced here, but other than that they are very knowledgeable and quite friendly and take pride in finding you the right selection.
Stopped in looking for a good whisky selection. They did a fine job, lots of choices and knowledgeable staff. Great selection of Scotch, Irish, Canadian, and US whiskies. Highly recommended.
Every single time I'm in this over-priced liquor store I am treated like a criminal. They have an all-bags-left-at-front policy that belies the clientele of a ghetto with absolutely no discretion paid to the customer or their dress or their general presentation.If you don't mind being looked looked at with dust and distate then by all means shop here. I, for one, will never be back!
