Great liquor store, large beer and wine fridge, knowledgeable staff, tons of local craft beer and Van Isle as well as other BC wines, plus of course lots of international stuff. I've never been disappointed with their recommendations. Top notch! And their new location is perfect.
While we love Cook St Liquor (favourite liquor store in the city!) this review is for Cook St Greenery which is the cute little flower shop at the front of the store. Alina did all our wedding florals and I cannot say enough great things!! Her bouquets were beautiful, she listened to what we wanted and created the perfect arrangements for our day. All the other details we ordered, like a flower crown, table greenery, and corsages, were perfect as well. The pricing was incredibly reasonable for the quality of flowers we received. We could not have picked a better florist, and would recommend Cook St Greenery to anyone!!
Horrible customer service, the manager was terribly rude when inquiring about wines. I would highly recommend the owner to invest in training for the service staff when dealing with cross cultures. Degoutante.
Really quality addition to Cook Street Village. Much larger than their previous location. Great local selection, but the prices (though include tax) are significantly higher than other liquor stores. The little florist is a great addition! The prices are high but the quality is quite nice and it looks amazing!
Nice staff, clean shop, fantastic selection of craft beer and hard alcohol. My favorite was the Kombucha and beer mix from Rogue Ales and the green can of Steamworks beer. I also met the resident dog Whiskey, very cute.
