Amazing place. It's a private marina and a fish boat harbour. Many activities like whale watching and fishing charters available. Whatever you eat is also here in the form of floating restaurants and bars serving beer and cider. I went to The Floating Fish Store and had deep fried Fanny Bay oysters and chips. The beer was an on tap Fat Tug. Excellent.
Wonderful and fun place to be and to eat good food. Fish and chips are yummy! Scenery superb! A good place to see lots of tourists and show them how friendly we Victorians are!!A place to rent sea cayaks or go on a whale watching tour! Fun to walk around and see the floating homes and other boats. Lots of action - sea planes taking off etc.
Alot of different food establishments including a popular Fish and Chips place with killer Halibut and chips. There's even a seafood vendor who will hand scraps to feed the resident Seals that are close by waiting for an easy meal. This is also where you can jump on the Harbour Taxi's to explore the various bays and waterways. Note make sure your wallet is full.
If you want Fresh seafood make your way over to this little gem. Its always one of our favorites for fish& chips and fresh oysters. affordable. save room for dessert if you enjoy Ice cream.
Great way to enjoy some fresh seafood or ice cream and stroll around the many boat houses. Vibrant colours, lots of activity including buskers and live music. Catch a small harbour ferry and tour around other stops and locations. Very enjoyable.
